Our Process
Our process is designed to take the guess work out of choosing a wedding photographer and to make the wedding photography experience stress-free. To begin, you'll meet with one of our talented Photography Consultants. They will work with you to understand your vision of your day and your style. They'll also design a photography and album package that best suits your needs.
Based on your style, we will recommend a photographer. You will have the opportunity to review the photographer's work and biography. You have ultimate control in approving which photographer shoots your wedding. We have a 96% first time matching rate, which means that we do such a good job of listening to you that we generally get it right the first time. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with the photographer we've assigned to you, we will continue to recommend alternatives until you are completely satisfied.
Once you determine that Bella Pictures is the fit for your wedding, a Photography Planner will work with you to help plan all of the details of your photography coverage. You'll work with your Planner all the way through to the completion of your wedding album.
The following timeline will help you to better understand the process of working with Bella:
Reserve Your Date
A $100 reservation fee is required to secure your date. This will go towards your package price. If you decide not to go with us, we will refund your money within 30 days of receiving your reservation. Compare this policy to most other photographers who require a 50% non-refundable retainer at the time of reservation. Reserve your date!
Share Your Vision With Us
We'll learn about your wedding day and your style so that we can match you with a photographer and help you to customize your photography package. We'll help you to decide the length of time your photographer will work with you, the type of album you will want and the style of photography that will best suit you.
Agreement & First Deposit
We'll send out your agreement within days of the consultation and won't ask for your first deposit until 30 days after reserving with us. We ask for 50% of the total package cost for your first deposit.
Review Our Recommendation For Your Photographer
60 days before your wedding, we will present you with a photographer we believe will be ideal for your day. You'll see samples of their work and learn about their photography experience and background. Since we're photography experts, over 96% of brides are delighted with the first photographer we present. However, if we don't find the perfect match the first time, we'll work with you until we find the photographer that fits you best.
Check In / Introduction Call
Prior to your wedding, you'll speak with your photographer to review the important details of your day. You will discuss your vision for the photos, the schedule for your wedding day, and any must-have portraits. You will also review the location. It's very likely that we've shot at your venue before, so we can be a great help in brainstorming settings for the perfect picture.
Final Payment
The remaining balance of your payment is due 30 days prior to wedding.

View Images Online And Design Your Album
Approximately 4 weeks after your wedding, your images will be posted on a secure site where you can review and choose your favorite photos. Once you've decided on your final photos, you can begin working with our Album Design Team to create a customized album that tells your story just the way you want it to.
Ongoing Support
You'll have an amazing support network with Bella. Your Photography Planner will always be on hand to answer any questions and to support you in any way that's within our means. We will respond to you within 24 hours. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service.
